Episode 5: Faceoff
Nadia returns from visiting her boyfriend, Vic, in Mexico. She meets with Khanyi as they both shared different experience and gossips about what has been happening lately among their friends since her absence.
Khanyi meets with Zari to discuss her issues with Annie. Zari is making a defensive part because she feels Annie could be suspecting she had something with the husband. It is naturally to have Diamond, a Music celebrity and still have a slight crush on another Music celebrity, 2 baba in another country.
Her defensive act during the meeting with Khanyi aroused more suspicion. We would have preferred she met and settled with Annie, after all, she told Khanyi at the all-White party that she wants to have a meeting with Annie.
Having a meeting with Annie would have been a better move and apologizing so that peace could reign than meeting with Khanyi. Zari has ego and has a lot of things on her sleeves and maybe that’s what makes her a boss lady.
While Zari meets with Khanyi, Annie meets with Swanky and discussed all that happened. Annie only needed an apology whether she is right or wrong.
Khanyi, Kudzi and Annie, 2baba meets in a dinner. At the dinner, Khanyi tells 2baba how much Annie loves him so much and advices him to say a special message to her on the renewal night in this Episode- Wedding bells
But will 2Face really change?
Truly, there are things that cannot be changed or fixed and Annie knows that. he can only be a better person to her.
Swanky organizes a cover reveal but intentionally didn’t invite Zari to avoid unnecessary drama. It was wise of him especially knowing that 2baba was around and would definitely show up with Annie. Kayleigh already have some issues with her boyfriend and so, only Kayleigh showed up to avoid dramas.
While Kayleigh talks about her relationship with Nadia, Swanky checks on Naked and they both got some tips on how to handle the relationship. Naked and Kayleigh are back together after a visit to their couple therapy.
The episode ends up with Swanky playing host to both Zari and Annie and they both apologized and made peace with each other. It shows that women are very complex and understanding them is tough.
