The tallest building in America is to be built in Oklahoma

Oklahoma City Aims for the Sky with Proposed Record-Breaking Tower. Get ready for a skyline shake-up! Oklahoma City is vying for the title of “Tallest Building in America” with the proposed construction of The Legends Tower. Reaching a staggering 1,907 feet (581 meters), this ambitious project would dwarf the current champion, One World Trade Center in New York.

But The Legends Tower is more than just a height grab. The development envisions a vibrant mini-city within the heart of Oklahoma City. Alongside the main skyscraper, three additional towers, each at an impressive 345 feet (105 meters), will offer a mix of residential spaces, hotels, retail stores, and entertainment areas.

The design holds special significance, with its height commemorating the year Oklahoma gained statehood in 1907. If construction goes ahead as planned, The Legends Tower will not only transform Oklahoma City’s skyline but also join the ranks of the world’s six tallest buildings.
