Silverton Siege Movie: Full Review

The Movie, Silverton Siege is a South African thriller in which three anti-apartheid guerilla fighters  find themselves in trouble after an unsuccessful mission and botched escape from the police.  While in the bank for hours, they hold the bank hostage and demands for the release of Nelson Mandela in exchange for the freedom of the hostages.

The Movie is inspired by a real time event and it is recommended to everyone who is fighting for a good course. The Movie, Silverton Siege is among other South African historic thrillers as it showed how the followers of Mandela made plans and moves to see his freedom was granted.

On attempting to escape with a provided helicopter, the trio becomes betrayed by the police because the pilot was armed and ready to attack. So, they returned to the bank.

The trio believes that one of them sold them out to the police and this raised tension and death of their members. When Aldo noticed that the armed pilot would expose him as the spy, he killed him and covered it up.

On arrival of Johan Langerman to see the hostages, reminds us of Money Heist, who made a statement which triggered Terra to know Aldo was the informant and she killed him immediately.

When Thabo Ramesti, as featured in “Amandla”, noticed that their only option were prison or death, him and his team decided to negotiate for the release of Nelson Mandela.
