Episode 1: Diamond of the First Water
Bridgerton- The eight-episode Netflix series from Shondaland that’s based on Julia Quinn’s Regency historical-romance series about the eight sons and daughters of an English noble family.

This episode opens up with families showcasing their daughters to Her Majesty, the Queen, for the London Marriage. Daphne Bridgeton gets accepted and kissed by the Queen who calls her, ‘Flawless’
Daphne becomes the Diamond of the First water
After the London Marriage show at the Queen’s place, both families, Bridgerton and Featherington discusses about what happened at the Queen’s place. While they discuss, Miss Marina Thompson arrives to be part of the Featherington family and joins the season because of many prospective suitors who would be in town.
Lady Danbury organizes a ball and the Duke of Hastings, Simon, arrives and gets the eyes of many young ladies.
Daphne meanwhile, finds herself fighting off prospective bachelors as her brother bats for her, fending off a man named Ambrose as an alleged cheat. As they go around the room, Anthony warns Daphne against numerous different men
She collides with Duke while she escapes Lord Nigel Berbrooke love gestures.
At the ball, Lord Berbrooke tries to harass Daphne, she hits him hard and the Duke arrives. Perturbed by their intentions, they both planned a ruse.
It seems the Viscount, Anthony Bridgerton, took his love and sexual affairs from Season 1 into this season with Siena.
