Meta and Ray-Ban partner to create AI-powered sunglasses
Meta and Ray-Ban have partnered to create the first-ever AI-powered sunglasses. These sunglasses can identify objects and places in real time, translate foreign languages, and livestream footage to Instagram and Facebook.
The new sunglasses are still under development, but they have the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with the world around us. For example, they could be used to help people with disabilities navigate their surroundings, or to provide tourists with information about the places they are visiting.
The new sunglasses feature a number of advanced AI capabilities, including:
- Real-time object and place recognition:Â The sunglasses can identify objects and places that people are seeing in real time. This information can then be displayed to the wearer in a discreet way, such as through text or icons.
- Instant language translation:Â The sunglasses can translate foreign languages in real time. This can be useful for travelers or people who need to communicate with people who speak different languages.
- Livestreaming to Instagram and Facebook:Â The sunglasses can livestream footage to Instagram and Facebook. This allows wearers to share their experiences with others in real time.
This partnership didn’t seem to go well for many other who love their privacy. Here are some comments gotten from Twitter and Instagram
