How to add Core Network to MetaMask

Following Mainnet live, it is advisable to add core to MetaMask. This article gives you a guide on how to add the new Core network to your MetaMask wallet.

Below you will find guides for the browser extension as well as mobile. Please make sure to follow the steps with care and put in the right details for the network.

Adding the new network on your browser extension

1. Click on the network selector button (the downward facing arrow next to the current network). This will display a list of networks
   
2. Click ‘Add network’ at the bottom of the network list:
3. A new fields to fill out will open up:

Fill in the following network information:

• Network Name: Core Blockchain
• New RPC URL: https://rpc.coredao.org/
• Chain ID：1116
• Currency Symbol: CORE
• Block Explorer URL: https://scan.coredao.org

Complete the fields and click save to add the network.

4. After performing the above steps, you will be able to see the Core network the next time you access the network selector.

Adding the Core network to MetaMask via the Core Explorer

Kndly follow these simple steps on how to add core network to MetaMask

1. Kindly visit Core and scroll down

2. 2. Look for ‘Add Core Network’ button
      

3. Approve in your MetaMask
   
4. After performing the above steps, you will be able to see Core network the next time you access the network selector.

Adding the new network on your mobile wallet

1. Tap on the three lines in the top-left corner on your Meta Mask
   
2. Select ‘Settings’
   
3. Select Networks
   
4. Tap on ‘Add Network’
   
5. Fill in the Custom RPC Network details
   
6. Fill in the network information

• Network Name: Core Blockchain
• New RPC URL: https://rpc.coredao.org/
• Chain ID：1116
• Currency Symbol: CORE
• Block Explorer URL: https://scan.coredao.org

Complete the fields and click save to add the network.

After performing the above steps, you will be able to see the Core network the next time you access the network selector.
