ISO 20022 creates a common international language for payments. Each bank will follow the same communication protocol. This will enable instant payments, more efficient, and free up liquidity across the world.
Before 2027, every bank will have to adapt to this new standard beginning from America and European continents
Over 50 countries have already implemented this, including Switzerland, China and Japan.
The company SWIFT is implementing this right now. The FED will do same by November 2023.
Right now, Central Banks are working on enabling crypto payments. And ISO 20022 is going to decide which crypto coin can be used. Right now, on the list are XRP, XLM, XDC, MIOTA and ALGO
Banks adopting Crypto: What does this mean?
Banks are adopting crypto standards behind the scenes. This is paving the way for mass crypto adoption. The fear of missing out is the beginning of wisdom. The masses are rushing towards crypto to catch up and buy quickly.
However, here’s how you can take advantage of this. The launch of crypto payments by central banks could start the next crypto bull run very soon.
