Episode 7: Oceans Apart

The Duke and the Duchess begins their silent treatment and anger on each other.  Because of the scandal between Colins Bridgerton and Miss Marina, Daphne returns home with the Duke to be with her Colins and her family.

The Featherington family becomes isolated and looked upon with contempt from the society because of the scandal, and are also excluded in participating in different activities especially the Queen’s Luncheon.

Daphne speaks to Colins. Collins reveals to Daphne that he needs to speak with Miss Marina before he leaves for Greece. Daphne promises to arrange their meeting together.

In a bid to continue their sexual relationship, the Duke insists on his decision not to have a child as a revenge to his father.

Collins meets with Marina as she revealed to him that she was truly pregnant with a child.

Daphne lashes her mother for not preparing her and giving her the right advice to marriage and marital relationships.

Daphne meets with Marina and apologies to her about being misjudged. Marina brief her about George as Daphne promises to see how she could reach George through General Langham to get more information about George.

Lord Featherington is in debt, yet, cannot get rid of his gambling spirit. He meets with Mondrich to strike a deal for a fight contest.

Lord Bridgerton and the Duke fights over disagreement of their leadership skills.

Henry speaks to Benedict about his relationship and feelings which he referred to as ‘Ocean Apart’. It only takes courage to live outside the traditional expectation of the society.

In the concluding part of the episode, Marina makes move to take some mixture to kill her child. On the other hand, Daphne discovers she is not pregnant yet with a child and feels so sad.
