Atlanta Couples Unite 3,000 to Build Sustainable Housing for the Community

Atlanta-based couple, Majesty and Elize, founders of EVOPIA.org, are making waves in the fight against housing insecurity. Through their organization, they’ve united over 3,000 members to champion Black interests in real estate and provide much-needed affordable housing solutions.

EVOPIA’s dedication to the Atlanta community began with safeguarding the interests of its 3,000 members. Recognizing the housing crisis’s impact, they embarked on a mission to provide safe and affordable homes. Their journey started with the successful renovation of a residential property, offering immediate shelter.

Building on this success, EVOPIA didn’t stop there. During the pandemic, they took a bold step, purchasing a 45,000 sq ft hotel to further expand their housing capacity. This expansion not only provided additional shelter but also fostered a strong sense of community.

EVOPIA’s approach goes beyond just providing housing. It actively fosters community engagement by offering various services to its members. This creates a supportive environment where individuals can thrive and connect with each other.

Majesty and Elize’s vision for EVOPIA extends beyond Atlanta. They aim to replicate their model across the globe, empowering Black communities through sustainable real estate solutions. Their story serves as an inspiring example of how collective action and innovative thinking can address critical social issues like housing insecurity.
