Apple Makes foldable iPhone as prototypes in early stages
Apple is reportedly making progress on foldable iPhones, exploring designs that fold horizontally like classic clamshells. However, these devices are still in their early stages and won’t see mass production before 2026. Despite this, Apple has already begun talks with Asian manufacturers to secure components for two different foldable iPhone sizes.
A foldable iPhone would mark a major departure from Apple’s current hardware philosophy, offering a more compact and portable option. However, challenges like high costs and increased fragility compared to traditional smartphones remain unresolved.
