Google Accessibility Suite for Persons with Hearing Impairment. They are:
Sound Amplifier: It helps to clarify the sound around you. It helps to filter, augments and amplify sound around you. It makes everyday conversation more accessible among people who are having difficulty in hearing. To use this device, you will need a pair of headphones and your android device. This app is available for devices with Android 8.1 and above.
It reduces unwanted noise to recognize speech better. It focuses on a speaker’s voice in a noisy environment. You can use it to listen to  lectures and conversations
Go to setting> Sound Amplifier or Settings > Accessibility > Downloaded apps.
Live Transcribe: Makes everyday conversations and surrounding sounds more accessible among people who are deaf and having difficulty of hearing properly.
After downloading the app, open the app and go to device setting. Tap accessibility and put it on.
Functions:
- Get notified of potentially risky situation and personal situation based on sounds happening at home e.g. smoke alarm, siren, baby crying.
- Get notification with a flashing light or vibration to your mobile device or wearable.
It has over 80 languages and dialects and quickly switch between two languages.
You can set your phone to vibrate when someone says your name.
It enables you to type response in your conversation. Bring up your phone’s keyboard and type your word for a continuous dialogue
- You can set the volume or see the volume of the speaker voices compared to the loudness in your environment. The sound amplifier app helps you to adjust your volume when you speak.
- You can use external microphones found in wired headsets, Bluetooth headsets and USB mics for better audio reception.
For the transcription, you could choose to save transcription for three days
- Save transcription will stay locally on your deice for three days so that you can copy and paste them elsewhere
- Touch and hold text in transcription to copy and paste
Sound Amplifier requires Andriod 6.0 (Marshamallow) and up.

Live Caption on Andriod: Caption video and audio playing on your computer. It is available in English alone. Google Live Caption accessibility menu works cross any app, using a high level of machine learning to put text captions on audio files in real time.
YouTube Caption: Caption YouTube videos. Captions are great way to make contents accessible for viewers. YouTube can use speech recognition technology to automatically create captions for your videos. Go to YouTube and look for the CC or caption icon and click on it. Also, you can also use the transcript feature on YouTube. It helps a lot.
