Broom as the name implies could be used for spiritual works and to chase away bad luck, negativity or any curse made upon a land you want to live in.
Any day you want must pack into a new building, please, leave the old broom from the former (old) building, do not go along with it. You must understand that some buildings and lands are cursed. Some people do not know that the house they stay has effect on them.
To park into a new building, buy new broom (Aziza)
Garlic (14) in number
Get orange peels
Bring Ash (ntu)- the early morning ash
Egg or small chicken
DE Louis hot drink/ dry gin or any other hot drink
Procedure: Drop the broom at the entrance of your door (it should be lying flat) and step on it. While stepping on it, say, ‘As from today, the land shall favour me, and I will march into my glory’. After saying this prayer, stand the broom with the bundled head touching the ground.
Before you do any significant thing in the new building, bring an egg, and roll it round the building- 4 corners (mainly on the floor) in the rooms, parlour, bathroom, passage, kitchen and say, ‘I shall have peace and I will be in this house and have my own building too”. While rolling it round the edges of the building, keep saying good prayers upon the building and upon your life.
Bring the garlic (14), pound the garlic very well. Bring a pot with water and add the orange peels inside the pot. Get a pinch of the ash (4 times) and put it inside the pot and cook them all every well for about 20 minutes. Sieve it and bring out the water.
Bring the water you already sieved and put it inside a bucket and then dip the broom inside the bucket and use the broom to sweep the house. You can even pour all the water in the house and use it to start sweeping the house. You do not need to make the house dry after using the broom and the ritual water. The broom and the wet floor should be inside the house and let it dry on its own.
Bring the hot drink, ‘call on all the spirits from your fathers’ and mothers’ side and tell them that as you have stepped into this building / office/ shop, they should open doors for you and bring in positive energy to you. While saying this prayer, pour some of the hot drink into your hand and sprinkle it on the floor. After pouring the hot drink, use the broom to sweep everywhere in the house.
After that, raise the broom up and start touching all the places on the ceiling. If you have a T or four corner junctions, drop the broom there, break the egg there and leave immediately, when doing any of these rituals at the T- junctions, please do not look back. The egg must be broken on top of the broom. If you do not have a T or 4 corner junctions, you can use express road too.
For those living outside the country, you can throw it inside the dustbin but make sure the egg breaks on top of the broom.
