Many adults bed wet and its normal to feel very embarrassed about it. Bedwetting can have causes that aren’t due to underlying disease. The commonest is the Nocturnal enuresis. Bed-wetting can occur up to age 5 as part of normal childhood development. In adults, bedwetting can be caused by consuming so much water or liquid, alcohol intoxication and many other factors.

Here are some tips to stop bedwetting.

  1. Avoid carbonated drinks: Coke, Fanta, and its likes.
  2. Boil the corn silk (hair) and drink the water in the day. It helps the gall bladder
  3. Take honey before bed. This will help you relax your nerves
  4. Reduce the way you take water from 6pm
  5. You can try setting alarm every 2hrs to urinate. Your body will gradually adapt to it.
  6. You can embark on yogi exercise by taking a deep breath in and out every morning. It helps to build one’s consciousness and alertness.
  7. Lastly, you can visit a urologist. It may be weakening bladder muscle that you are unable to control. It could be structural anatomical issue that can be foxed. Medication can help with whatever the diagnosis
  8. Look for hot charcoal or hot firewood and urinate on it.
