There are several ways to start a digital skills and make money online. Having a tech or digital skills will give you an edge over other. Whenever people hear about making money online, the first thing that comes to their mind is learning a new set of digital skills and for some, what comes to their mind is learning digital marketing.

To make money online, you must have the right skill or a service or must be a professional in one area or the other. Lastly you need to be selling something or doing something.
Last week I saw an ads teaching people how to start photo enlargement business and that ads have been on for months with lots of engagement. It is obvious the person may be making sales through the ads.
Another example- you might have seen ads on an instructor teaching people how to make yoghurt, coconut oil, how to sew clothes and lots more. This summarizes that you need to bring your offline skill for people online.
No matter what skill you have offline be it baking, painting, sewing, decoration and so on, you can make money with it online. All you need to do is to set up a professional profile and start talking about it.
When you begin, two things are bound to happen
- You make more sales and get recommendation from people who stay within your physical environ /online space and people who stay far away can also patronize your service.
- You start getting training request, which can serve as an extra source of income from the same business
2: Learn a digital skillÂ
Digital skills are beyond social media management, content creation and copy writing and graphics. We have skills like data analysis, software testing, UI/UX. Â These are skills that can easily get you international remote jobs.
Pick one of them, get a coach and take your time to learn every aspects of that skill including the secrets. Six (6) months of consistency can get you going on a long run.
3: Use your professional skills
Some of us studied Law, Medicine, Economics, Architecture, Accounting, Banking and Finance and a whole lot of other professional courses together. Â Since there is high unemployment rate and even those who are employed are paid little. Some of these paid jobs only take care of your transport to the workplace and feeding and by month end, you are in massive debt.
It is important you use your professional skills online. There are a lot of employers on international freelancing sites like Fiverr, upwork and others who are seriously in need of people like you to either consult, write or offer other related services within this your field.
Even as a graduate of some of these courses listed above, you can use LinkedIn and twitter to position yourself. For example, you can be a Tech Lawyer or a crypto lawyer or even a crypto accountant. As a lawyer you can position yourself as a crypto compliance lawyer.
