Why do rich people wear simple clothes and not Gucci, Chanel, Hermes?
Some times you see super rich billionaires like Mark Zukerberg not wearing Gucci. This is because a typical designer brand like Gucci, Chanel, Hermes doesn’t target very rich people. Instead, they sell to people who want to look rich.
This doesn’t mean that rich people wear cheap simple clothes. What it means is that there are a lot of designer’s brands that are ridiculously out of price range for the average person such as Italian Luxury Brands which rich people wear that sells simple t-shirts for 400$ and up.
Most of these brands may not seem popular because they don’t have cool logos. These rich billionaires don’t feel there is a need to impress other people with logos since they are already rich. The put on clothes that don’t have logo and labels because they know they will be giving these brands free marketing and exposure. So, unless they are paid, they’ll continue wearing logo-less clothes.
Rich people don’t need to impress others. They have enough money. Most rich people want to hide and make private their richness for security reasons. Some rich people are egoist too. They don’t want to endorse other brands apart from their own. They prefer wearing a street collection and branding it. While some rich people wear designer brand because it is an investment to them.
In conclusion, the richer you are, the smarter you should know how to value money
